Natural bee glue (bee propolis): its color varies depending on the plants the bees have collected resins and pollen from and mixed for its production. Most often, we find amber, with beige, red, green and yellow shades; there is also brown and even almost black bee glue.
Bee glue dissolves successfully in alcohol, water and fat. This is most effectively and permanently done in alcohol and a durable and rich in nutrients propolis tincture is obtained. Bee glue does not change its properties for decades and in fact it does not spoil.

Propolis is a resinous substance with a shiny dark yellow to brown-green color. Bees prepare propolis from wax, resins and pollen. The plants secrete resins through their bark and buds. Bees process it through their jaws by mixing it with saliva, transporting it to the hive and polishing each surface with propolis, thus protecting it from microorganisms.
